A YAML based Template For CMS-DB

YAML4cms-db

This pure Template is for use with the CMS cms-db (based on PHP, no database is needed) written by Jan Hoffmann and based on the great CSS-framework YAML4 written by Dirk Jesse.

It supports the YAML's flexible and responsive design and all features of cms-db.

This template is released under Creative Common Attributions 2.0 (cc-by 2.0) like YAML. For the free use of YAML4cms-db, a backlink to the authors website (http://www.theatarian.de) in a suitable place (e.g.: footer of the website or in the imprint) is required. Feel free to modify or distribute this template. It must be under the same licence.

The mods of cms-db are licenced under GPL3.

The licences of YAML and cms-db are not touched by this licence and are valid too. So please read more about:

You need to install cms-db first ;) This template is created by using Version 0.9.4, newer versions may work too.

YAML4cms-db

This first archive cms-db mods is for a better support of my template. The template itselfs is YAML4cms-db. The archives are splitted to avoid problems with the different licences of YAML and cms-db.

Quick Installation

If you're using cms-db or YAML the first time, please refer to their websites: cms-db YAML

Install cms-db. Open dashboard once and exit. Close all instances of cms-db, unpack cms-db_mods.zip and copy all files to the directory where cms-db is installed on your webserver. If you are asked to overwrite existing files, say yes to all. Now do the same with YAML4cms-db.zip. Have fun :)

It's recommended to use a fresh installion of cms-db. Do not install yaml4cms-db into an existing installation, you may damage it.
